Database - Catchtracker Digital Fishing Journal
River conditions are dynamic. The bait and presentation that worked for you yesterday during a nice, steady rise many not get you bit today when the river is on a fast drop.
Bait that worked in April is suddenly ice-cold in May. Your go to spot in June is now a fish ghost town. How in the heck is a guy supposed to keep track?
I've found that keeping a historical record of my trips helps me tailor my fishing style to the current conditions, improving my odds of catching big fish throughout the season.
Since I couldn't find a ready made tool that worked for me and paper has a short life span on a boat I developed the Catchtracker fishing database.
Catchtracker is a robust relational database application built on the Microsoft Access 2007 platform. The program allows you to enter details about every fish caught and then produce reports based on that data to help determine how you should be fishing today based on successes in the past under similar conditions.
The best part is that you don't have to know anything about databases to use my program. If you were computer savvy enough to get to this website then you'll have no problem using the Catchtracker fishing database.
Catchtracker not only keeps track of your fish, but also your gear. You can even enter contact information for all of your fishing partners and run reports on who you catch the most fish with.
I've had success using this application and I hope that it will do the same for you. I'm offering a free copy of the Catchtracker electronic fishing journal with every guided trip. If you would just like to purchase the software, please fill out the contact form below. Price for a complete copy is only $5 plust $2 shipping and handling.
