Tackle and Equipment
Trophy catfishing requires tough tackle. I have used many different products from lots of manufacturers over the years but I've settled on tough, dependable gear that works for me on the Missouri river and stands up to the abuse that lots of fishing and big fish entail.
To land fish like those you see in my gallery everthing from the hook all the way to the rod has to be made for the job at hand. I've spent countless hours trying different rods, reels, line, and terminal tackle and the products you see below are what I use on a daily basis and firmly believe to be the best gear for my style of big cat fishing.
