Rules for guided trips

Ok, here's the part where common sense, my personal hang-ups, and my insurance company have their say - the rules listed here may be updated at any time and those listed at the time of your departure are considered to be in effect at the time of departure for your trip, regardless of when your trip was booked:

1.  No alcohol or illegal drugs.  At all.  On the boat or before we leave. I reserve the right to cancel a trip at the ramp if you or a member of your party has been drinking or using drugs before we depart.

2.  Coast Guard approved personal floatation devices will be worn by guests at all times during the trip.  If you don't have your own then I will gladly provide one for you to use during our trip.

3.  You must be at least 18 years of age to book a trip with me.

4.  You must be the parent or legal guardian of anyone under the age of 18 in your party.

5.  I reserve the right to cut a trip short or not to depart at all in case of unsafe weather and/or river conditions.  I will do my best to let you know at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled trip if the weather and/or river level forecasts look like they will result in unsafe conditions.  If weather and/or river conditions cause your trip to be cancelled or cut short I will work with you to schedule a makeup trip as soon as possible after the missed date.

6.  All guests are responsible for having a valid fishing license at the time, and for the duration, of a fishing trip.

7.  All fish will be released back to the river immediately after pictures are taken.  I shoot for no more than five (5) minutes between boating and release.  I'll have a camera and a camera phone in the boat, and I'm sure if you booked a guided fishing trip you'll have a camera with you as well.   We'll get plenty of pictures.
